  • Why CCSJ?
Yellow Ribbon Program LogoCCSJ is proud to be a Yellow Ribbon participant for a 3rd year and to assist students using the G.I. Bill to help make their higher education more affordable. The Yellow Ribbon program is designed to help students avoid up to 100 percent of their out-of-pocket tuition and fees associated with education programs that may exceed the Post 9/11 GI Bill tuition benefit.
You must be admitted as a student at CCSJ before the VA Certifying Official in the Office of the Registrar can process your VA paperwork. You will provide the Office of Admissions with your DD-214 to receive your military credit and your college transcripts of all work completed at other schools.

If you have not yet received your Certificate of Eligibility, complete an Application for VA Educational benefits here. Be sure to print your completed application to bring to the CCSJ Registrar's Office in Room 119.
Your classes will not take place in a big lecture hall and won’t be taught by a teacher’s assistant. CCSJ has a student to faculty ratio of 15:1. Our faculty bring years of working experience into the classroom to share with you. Do you have scheduling conflicts due to work? We have day, evening, and weekend classes available for our working students. Diversity is our mission. At least 90% of our students receive some form of financial aid.
We are building tradition one sport at a time. CCSJ athletics has received local, regional, national recognition for its athletic programs as well as for our scholar-athletes.
