Minor in Drama
Students who minor in Performing Arts understand the creative, historical, and aesthetic aspects of theater and human performance. Students become critical thinkers and cultivate their creativity through improvisation and collaboration with peers.
Through the production of staged dramatic performances, students gain confidence as they work as a team to achieve a clear goal. The minor gives students an edge when entering fields that require planning, effective communication, innovation, project management and problem-solving.

15 Credit hours
The following courses and co-curricular activities are required:
- ARTS 100 Introduction to Performing Arts
- ARTS 240 Performance and Stagecraft
- ARTS 395 Calumet Mediaworks Practicum
- Six hours related work in ARTS with permission of program director
