Edwin Verde knows what it takes to persevere. Numerous personal hardships caused him to leave high school early, but Edwin overcame these setbacks and earned his GED. Knowing success meant continuing his education, he sought out a college that would help him fulfill his dream of becoming a professional photographer. With our family atmosphere, encouraging support teams and the studio tools necessary to create, Edwin found a home at CCSJ. He worked hard for four years, persisting through the shadow of the pandemic. He found motivational instructors and rich opportunities in his coursework. He bonded with friends and discovered that he is more resilient than he could have imagined. This May, Edwin graduated with honors, poised for success as a result of his dedication and the College Family that supported his passion.
