Position Summary:
The Public Safety & Criminal Justice Program seeks applicants to fill an available adjunct faculty position to begin in January 2022. The adjunct faculty member is needed to teach  undergraduate courses in Public Safety Administration as well as graduate courses in Public Safety Management Spring 2022 semester. Courses may include Introduction to Research, Public Safety Organizations & Environment, and Statistics.
Required Qualifications/Experience:
To qualify for these assignments, candidates must have a minimum of a Master’s Degree in the content area. A doctorate or terminal masters degree is preferred. Adjunct faculty may teach up to three sections per semester. The ideal candidate will have worked with first-generation college students from diverse backgrounds. Experience synchronous and asynchronous online instruction is strongly preferred. Strong written and oral communication skills are required, both as a professional and as someone teaching those skills to others. Experience with Blackboard LMS desired. This position requires a flexible schedule, which allows the successful applicant to participate in campus events.
